Brad Pitt’s Make It Right Foundation’s “Pink Houses” Project

Over 250 solar panels equaling 45 kilowatts were installed in the Lower Ninth Ward of New Orleans to provide temporary power to Brad Pitt’s “Pink Project” The project was used as a kickoff fund raiser to provide funding to construct 150 LEED platinum residences in one of the areas most severely impacted by Hurricane Katrina. Every single home in the “Make it Right” project features solar power. Since the Pink Project South Coast Solar has installed residential solar systems on 14 MIR homes and counting.
