Butler is honored to have helped UNO/TRAC open its doors by helping it raise close to $75,000. Butler was also selected by the March of Dimes as one of the Top 10 Most Eligible Bachelors in New Orleans.

Hobbies and Interests:
Butler grew up living in New Orleans, and escaping to the Mississippi Gulf Coast in Pass Christian with his family and friends on weekends. Water-skiing, fishing, crabbing,  going out to Cat Island and Ship Island, and jumping off of train bridges into the Wolfe and Jordan rivers were favorite past-times.  Also, being born on the 4th of July inherited a certain penchant for fireworks on the beach.  Now Butler spends his free time traveling whenever possible to SCUBA diving destinations, seeking out great restaurants, and listening to live local music.  Having been a voice and piano major in college, he also spends some of his off time composing and recording music at home. He is a huge Saints fan, and enjoys watching the games with his parents on Sunday and cooking for friends and family.  Butler is also a  strong supporter of animal rights, and loves his family’s pets… spending a lot of time in particular with a rescued beagle named Camille.
