Jason grew up in the Gentilly neighborhood of New Orleans, where he currently resides.
Background:
Before coming to SCS, Jason worked as a building materials sales rep in the New Orleans metro area. Jason brought a capacity to guide his clients through the sometimes difficult process of choosing the correct materials for their construction project.
Why SCS:
Jason’s interest in energy efficiency began while rebuilding his Gentilly home after flooding from hurricane Katrina. Jason was able to start with a clean slate and use the experience he gained while guiding others to manage the construction effort. “I wanted to do it right the first time so I would not have to worry about it in the future.” Jason sees the positive results from the choices he made, in 2006 and 2007, every month when he opens his utility bills. “I knew that I could reduce the amount of energy my home uses with EE projects, but learning about renewable energy and producing energy on my roofline brought me to South Coast.”

Hobbies and Interests:
I love cooking with my daughter, Megan; she is so comfortable in the kitchen. My son, Mason, shares my interest in fishing and target shooting. I feel so lucky to be born and raised in South Louisiana where we have a culture here that exists nowhere else in the world.
