This March Scott Oman, South Coast Solar's Chief Solar Guru tested for certification by the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners
NABCEP is a rigorous and demanding certification to earn and only experienced installers are screened to qualify for the exam. About 20% of installers who sit for the exam are able to pass the test and Scott is very proud to have passed on his first try! With NABCEP certification Scott joins an elite group of less than 1000 individuals nationwide. After attaining the solar industry¹s highest certification you might think Scott would take a short break but he is heading out to San Francisco for more specialized solar training on May 28th. Scott says “Being NABCEP certified is a great responsibility, I plan to always continue my solar training and experience so that I can maintain my certification.”
