Obama Admin. Seeks To Tax Oil And Coal Businesses, And Your Utility Rates Will Rise As A Result….Unless Of Course You "Geaux Solar"
We all see that “fuel adjustment” charge on our utility bills, and know that right now it accounts for more than 1/2 of our total electricity cost.
The Obama administration, through “carbon emissions control legislation” plans on taxing carbon producing operations….specifically coal which is where the US produces a huge portion of its cheap electricity, albeit not the cleanest. The point is, people are now canceling plans for coal plants in anticipation of huge taxes to come, which will inevitably raise the price that your utility company has to pay to produce your electricity. The only question is HOW MUCH WILL YOUR BILL INCREASE, not if it will.
By going solar, you lock in your energy rates for the next 1/4 century at least, making you immune to these increases that are inevitably coming! Below is an article from the times picayune that speaks about the coming taxes.

The chief of the Louisiana Oil and Gas Association is voicing concern over the amount of taxes in President Barack Obama’s budget that would be applied to Gulf of Mexico producers, according to the Baton Rouge Business Report.
Obama’s 2010 budget includes a tax increase of more than $30 billion on U.S. natural gas and oil production investments, said Don Briggs, president of the energy association.
Briggs suggests that the oil crash of the mid-1980s was a “cakewalk” compared to what the 2010 budget could offer.
